I don't feel like editing the shader of the skybox just to get some ambient lighting in my level. I read the Q3Radient tutorial on woldspawn and adding ambient and a value, but that didn't seem to work. Can somebody please go through making ambient lighting step by step for me?

On a "n00b" scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being "not so n00bish" and 10 being "n00b supreme" I'm about a 3 when it comes to JORadient. :nut:

ambient = a value between 5 or 20 is a good one, depending on how less shadows you want in your map

_color = RGB like "1 1 1" whatever you decide

I could kiss you right now. :nut:

I needed _color and "1 1 1"

Thank you! :D

Leave it, he has a sof2 mod to finish, no kissing :) BTW, for the ambient lighting, sometimes it is nice to get it a dark blue instead of white. It sometimes gives more realistic effects, especially on outside areas.

Howdy. How do you change the ambient lighting, and color? What menu is it on?
:D
