In episode 4,5,6 there are lightsaber battles right?Ok then you know when luke fights vader in ROTJ the battle is slow compared to those n TPM like obi won and darth maul.TPm battles were fast and exiting. Why is that?

I think these actors were just better swordsmen, that's all.

I mean, that Hamill kid crashed a car right after he did the first movie, as I recall...

There is a very good reason for the faster lightsaber battles in TPM. You see, in episodes 4,5 and 6 there were lightsaber battles, but they involved either old jedi past their prime (obi-wan and Darth Vader) or jedi(apprentice) that havn't yet reached their prime.

However, in TPM, the lightsaber battles involve more virile characters ( in other words jedi who aren't past their prime). Therefore, George wanted the battles to be more faster and much more furious. He wanted them to epitomize the jedi in their prime which he did marvelously.

The actor in the Vader suit was limited in his movements. So, the battles with Vader could only be so fast.
