If there are:
What do you think of the Story Contest on the back cover of the July-August issue? Any of you thinking of stories to enter? If so, you could post your basic ideas here.
Don't worry, I won't steal your ideas; I have some of my own.

commander, if this is supposed to be a star-wars sci-fi forum only, then why do we have 'The Atheist Abortion Debate' and 'X-Men and the Antrhropic Principle' and 'Summer Movies', this forum is for people (star wars fans especially) to speak whats on their mind, From Legos to the world around us. As for you markenobi, i don't have that issue yet.

To start with the Arthiest Abortion Debate was started by Kurgen so if you want to keep talking on this forum don't complain about that.
And X-men is kinda Sci-Fi(EWven though I hate it).
And earlier I saw some Topics on DBZ and commented on one.
They got no Replies except my complaining and those were made by one time Newbies. http://www.jediknight.net/mboard/tongue.gif)

Commander 598,
Why did I post this here, you ask? Well, here's why:
As you probably know, Lego makes Star Wars models from both the Classic trilogy and Episode One. On the back cover of the most recent issue, there was info about new contest. Entering it involves writing a story incorporating sets from one of their themes: either Adventurers, Arctic, Soccer, or Star Wars.
Thinking that if anyone who comes here was also a Lego Club member, they would probably take the Star Wars option, I was just interested in what stories others were thinking of entering.

legos aren't only little toys, they are collectables just like the star wars action figures were. they could be worth quite a sum of money someday, i mean, look at the beanie babies

Granted I'm still a 'kid', but I love the SW Lego. It's very detailed, especially the EP1 and Ultimate series. I have them all except four sets.

Good, I was hoping some fellow "Lego maniacs" would post here! So, have you guys (this doesn't mean you, Commander) gotten the July-August issue yet? I just did recently.

Is this a UK or US magazine (I don't get Lego magazine on regular occasions) ? I'd like to send in a story, but it would have to be the UK version.
