I just had a run in with a individual that goes by "Coolest!". He was repeatedly exploting my server. I believe it was through Rcon. The server kept terminating.

Any ideas how to remedy this?

Well, once we learn how to build a correct dedicated.cfg file, you can specify an rcon password. But in the meantime, setup a server password and test it with some friends. See if the server still terminates.

sounds like you havent changed the rcon password. in the default server.cfg file it has a default setting.

if you guys would read other threads there are example configs.

I am not an idiot. I changed my rcon BEFORE he did it. Anyways, why do I have the feeling that this is the same exploit that was used on Quake3 servers back in the 1.29 days?
