Past the ice room in level 3... now what?

I got past the icey room (climbed above that construction), then followed the top catwalk through to the room with the acidic stuff in, came down, destroyed all the turrets in that big room. Now what do I do? Every door seems locked...

Back in the room with the center structure surrounded by liquid... follow the top catwalk all the way around to the 2 windows... you will see a yellow crate in there... shoot it :)
