You can download 'Escape from Cloud City' from my website. It's alot of fun and very popular. What's more, it's EXCLUSIVE to GBUK.
Check out the scenarios page

Is it copyrighted or something???
Because anyone can grab the file and put it on their site...

BTW, what do you do in it???

Well, technically anyone can put anything on their site, but there is an unspoken code of honor that forbids that. It's like you don't boast about your own work and don't review your own work.

You guys should work on some lag issues with it. The scenario is just far too laggy and that was through looking at it on single player, its probably really bad on multiplayer. :(

The guy who made it has given it to my site mainly due to the competition but also to share with others. He hasn't posted it elsewhere and doesn't intend to. Although, someone has re-named it to 'Cloud City escape' which is the same.

Like with most Scenarios, they all seem to get upgraded as players get used to the Scenario editior and triggers.

It's a fun Scenario and I didn't have any lag problems playing it. The only lag from a Scenario I have had was 'Troopers Trap' but when you have 800 troops shooting at the same time, it's gonna happen!! That's also a fun scenario.

I don't understand why you're site is giving that scenario so much attention. The author released it only to your site and thats what makes it so "special"? The scenario is balanced terribly and it does lag alot and I don't see why its getting extra attention as if its going to be the winner of the contest or something. If it were to be reviewed at SWGB Heaven Games, it would only make about a 3.2 out of 5.0, which is good, but not great. I just don't understand why your making such a big deal about the scenario and leaving all other scenarios sorta in the dark.

No, I don't know why Escape from Cloud City is being treated so much more special than any of the others. And I wont to know why, that's all. ;)

Mine's special, but its not being treated that way. ;) Some reason KOT doesn't spread around very good, everyone who plays it loves it, but I rarely see it being hosted. I'm guessing its because of the fact that its only 3 players and not enough people get the scenario to spread it out.

Well, the lag is also pretty bad on your map TVS. Imagine 240 fighters on the map at one time. :bdroid1:

Well, KOT isn't that laggy until you get about 4 players in the game. That's when it noticably starts to kick in. On 2 player, its hardly noticable and 3 player its noticable, but doesn't happen as often as 4 player and on.

Well, considering it's designed for 8 players, lagging beginning at three players is a little below standard ;).

Its noticable at 3 players, but its tolerable. It doesn't start to get real annyoying until you reach like maybe 5 players.

Well, its still not that bad if your playing all good pings. Its a little annoying, but it doesn't ruin the game.

KOT wasn't that laggy on 8 players than 4 players for AoK because there is more people and more kills at a time so it slightly balances out in the end. Most of the additional lag came from the fact that you had more people, not that there was alot more units, but Green pings really helps that problem to a certian extent.

Sometimes I think its laggier with only a couple people. Because you can get away with having lots and lots of units, where with lots of people, there are alor more kills at a time and it keeps the pop limits down alot. Anyway, you took this thread way off topic, lets quit flooding this thread already. If you have anything else to say about, lets keep in in KOT Discussion. :p
