X-Wing vs. A-Wing

ok, here are the differences:

X-Wing has more control, more laser cannons, a proton torpedo launcher, stronger shields, stronger hull, and an r2-d2 unit that can be sabotaged to make the pilot lose control and the x-wing fly straight to a star destroyer to be tractor beamed in and captured!

A-Wing has more speed, faster rate of fire, two concussion missile launchers, more maneuverability, and twin j77 event horizon engines.

Which is better?...........they both cancel eachother out! What one loses the other makes up for. So you must answer this:

What ships do you like...in order! (in rogue squadron)

I like:

A-Wing
X-Wing
Y-Wing
Speeder
V-Wing
TIE Interceptor
Naboo Star Fighter
Falcon

And yesterday i was trying to see if i liked the v-wing, and found these weaknesses:

Too fast and not really maneuverable. but it makes up for this with those awesome seeker cluster missiles and good rate of fire, plus those awesome scram jets that make you go faster than every ship you have, but only for about 2 seconds. The weakness i found with those scram jets is that when i used them i was not able to steer the v-wing out of the way of a cliff or devastator. but those scram jets were mainly designed to get a pilot out of a dangerous area fast, not into a dangerous area fast.

Here's my vote!

Zap-zap! Zap-zap! Zap-zap! Zap-zap! Zap-zap!

And some missiles, too--here!

*Schoomp, schoomp*......Boom! Boom!

And here's the best part:

But they have a faster fire rate so it actually does equal, or more superior firepower per second! Besides, I mainly use missles for taking out TIEs and it only takes one to take out one of those.

Books? Bah! If they don't have 'The Master' and 'Imladil,' etc., as characters, they ain't tellin' the whole story now, are they? http://www.roguesquadron.net/forums/wink.gif)

And yes, the A-wing does have weaker guns. After you get the upgrade at Taloraan, though, they become more practical. The lesser blast ratio is offset by the rate of fire--and the A-wing's other 'get there fast and get the first shot' qualities.

No, it's 'Strike Wing A: Imladil's assassins.' As for your title, I guess that's up to you. http://www.roguesquadron.net/forums/biggrin.gif)

Ahh, but Imladi, there are books on why and how to plant trees, so if we didn't have books less people would plant trees, but less tress would be cut down. http://www.roguesquadron.net/forums/tongue.gif)

There were a lot more trees in the world before we came along with ideas like fire and carpentry...literature and printing are only more nails in the coffin. This cannot be denied.

Orthodox fascist neo-nazi. (Totally j/k! http://www.roguesquadron.net/forums/smile.gif) Seal pimp.

Actually, I think trees just block the view anyway. Cut 'em all down. There will always be plenty of lichens left to provide the oxygen we need. http://www.roguesquadron.net/forums/biggrin.gif)
