Well, the petition is now closed. It's really too bad- Imladil was right- the petition really does "stand for something larger than us."

So, I guess this is the end of that. http://www.roguesquadron.net/forums/icons/icon9.gif) At least we tried...

I think that we should re-open the petition and if it destroys the rest of this forum (taking xwa.net and jknight.net with it)

THEN SO BE IT

well, if it's a technical thing, don't crash the site. We can always start the topic over again and call it "Part II" or something.

R.A.V.E.N.S. useless facts:

A Bugger is a BAD thing. In England (and canada too I think) its actually used as a legal term.

This has been a useless fact. And now for something completely diferent.

...So what you're saying, ya R.A.V.I.N'. L.U.N.A.T.I.C., is that "bugger", an obvious derogatory term, has negative connotations when used in the vernacular?

Don't tell us how to view your posts, skw. If you post trash that angers the people here, we WILL make sure you know about it. It's YOUR responsibility to police yourself, not ours. The easiest solution for such a problem as this would be simply to stop behaving like such a moronic ass whenever posting here, which you alone have the power to enforce. Erego, police yourself.

If you force me to do it, I'll do everything in my power to have you removed. That's MY solution.

Okay, Skw..here is some serious advice. You seem to be having a communication problem with the rest of us, and I think I see where it's happening.

I get the impression you're just joking (as I am most of the time) and it's being taken the wrong way. You notice we use the little smilie faces a lot when we're picking on each other...this is because over the computer, things like tone of voice and body language are lost, and we come across "sounding" more serious than we really are.

I know the smilies are trite. I didn't use them at first, either, until I noticed that people weren't "getting it" when I was playing with them. I then looked in the "FAQ" file at the top of the screen and learned how to add them into the text of my posts.

Like this: http://www.roguesquadron.net/forums/smile.gif) http://www.roguesquadron.net/forums/wink.gif) http://www.roguesquadron.net/forums/smile.gif)

Just a suggestion. I think you're just joking, and using smilies would help get that across. I just wonder: why didn't anyone mention, piss off, yank? http://www.roguesquadron.net/forums/biggrin.gif)

Why? Simple, Imladil. Two reasons:

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp 1.) At the time, it did not, nor would it now, FIT. Which brings me to numero dos:
&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp 2.) Per this condition, I correctly surmised that YOU would gleefully jump all over it, hence there was no need. Compliments of RS.net's Former Executive Officers' Association. http://www.roguesquadron.net/forums/biggrin.gif)
