Spam, most likely recieving its name from Spam the infamous canned meat-ish product. A product that no one liked to eat. It is a generic meat-ish mix, cheap and mass produced.

Not unlike many messages from the same user on forums. Trite, boring, definitely too much of it, no one really cares to read it, it offers no good substance. Spam was a poor quality thing pumped out in great quantity, much like posts on messages boards and other places can be.
