Please note that this is still a beta.

I got tired of dealing with being level 20 after the leviathan, so i made this mod to slow the leveling process.

Please comment if you use this on ways I can improve this mod.

--------------------------
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
--------------------------
Copy the files to the override.
This mod may not be compatible to any fast feat mod or fast force power mod. This mod
did alread increase how many feats and powers you can get per level already.

------------
DESCRIPTION
------------
This is my solution to the level cap problem. Basically it doubles the time it takes to
level up. This may make the game harder, and it makes room for all of these great storyline
mods for k1.

-----
BUGS
-----
May be hard to reach max level without mods.
This mod does not effect the amount of skill points gained per level, if I had, the game would
become easer. If you wish to get more skill points, please download another mod.

DISTRIBUTION NOTES

may use it with or without my response.

Cool concept and helpful if you have story mods.

Wow I love this idea I think I may try it out if I have time. This idea was something I was looking for.

How about some options on how fast we level? Like 20%, 35%, 50% slower. :) I would try this out if I could use a lower percent.

Well its not really double, comparing it to K2, it would be about level 35.

I have no idea what your trying to say here. :( From my earlier post I would love to see a mod that slows exp down with some options. I don't have any extra content loaded so I don't need exp to be slowed that much. I would guess around 20 % give or take a bit. That is why I would like some options. :)

I also noticed that it seems you did something to how many feats you get as you level. I would have no interest in this myself. I just want to level a bit slower which in turn I hope it would make the game a bit harder.

It slows it about 30 percent. And if you dont want extra feats. Only install the expgain.2da file.

Thanks for the quick reply. :) I will try 30% but I feel that might be a bit to much. Only one way to find out so off I go. o/

UPDATE: I don't see any expgain.2da file. Did you mean exptable.2da?

Redownload it

I've tried that...and just did again right before posting this. I get the little "unarchiving" bar screen and then nothing. no file to open or anything.

With this mod, what level will you be when you first become a Jedi, if you do all the side quests? Will your distribution still be 8/12?

Probably not.

A suggestion, though of course this is your mod. But I think I will do this for myself anyway:

Gaining levels as a low level is more noticeable than gaining levels at a high level. I.e., level 3 to 4 is a bigger difference than 18 to 19. So instead of multiplying all the exp requirements by a fixed percent, how about something like this?:

From 1 to 2: add 4%
From 2 to 3: add 5%
From 3 to 4: add 6%

etc. So the exptable would be, in this example:

<0, 1 040, 3 150, 6 360, 10 700, 16 200, 22 890, 30 800, 39 960, 50 400, 62 150, 75 240, 89 700, 105 560, 122 850, 141 600, 161 840, 183 600, 206 910, 231 800>

I found a .zip version of your mod on a different site, but when I opened it up, there was nothing in the folder. I've no idea what the issue is...

You are doing something wrong on your end, Bonedragon Jedi. The link on this page is good, I just downloaded it to test it.

What program are you using for unarchiving? There are many free ones out there that will open this just fine... Since it's the program Canderis used to pack it, and it is FREE, why not use 7-Zip (http://www.7-zip.org)?)

If that is not acceptable for you....

It would be perfectly acceptable had I not ALREADY tried that program and experienced the same problem.

EDIT: I can get the file to open, but there is nothing in it for some reason. I wish I knew what the error was on my end.

EDIT AGAIN: IT WORKS!! whew...I think. haven't installed it yet, but I actually have stuff in the folder now.
