Hey there :)

well here's a mod I just finished and I wanted to share, it will add to TSL the 3 camouflaged mandalorian armors from Dak Drexl's Big Skin pack mod to the game, for those who don't want to cheat or can't deal with the console or the KSE.
It has a -I hope- reasonable story behind it to achieve them. Nothing's for free in life ah? :)

Thanks alot to Dak Drexl for allowing me to use his mod, well a minimal part of it actually. Here's the link to his mod at kotorfiles: http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/Daks_Big_Skin_Pack;114383)

Here's the full Readme for install and everything about it:

Mod: Mandalorians camo assault armors in-game

1. Idea
=======
In my first playthrough right after installing Dak Drexl's mandalorians skins and armors (see it here: http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/Daks_Big_Skin_Pack;114383) I walked into that mandalorian stealthy ambush at Dxun's moon (remember??) and I wondered myself ... shouldn't these awesome camouflaged armors be already in the game instead of cheating or using KSE? and shouldn't they be delivered to the player with a reasonable story behind it? so I did this small mod to fix that.

2. Info
=======
a) This mod will add to the PC inventory the 3 Dak Drexl's mandalorian assault camo armors available in that mod (found in \BigSkinPack\Optionals\Mandalorians folder for those who installed that mod partially, like I did). They will have similar properties than the original armors, nevertheless slight changes have been done to the armors properties (for example, -1 defense bonus but adding +/-5 damage resistant to Slashing, things like that).
b) the dialog with the mandalorian Sergeant will have no voice-overs, it doesn't worth the time and effort for a short mod just to deliver items, but there are animations and scripts according to the dialog.

3. How to play
============
You need to reach the mandalorian camp at Dxun and talk to the Mandalorian Sergeant who leads the battle circle to fire the mod. I'm not fan of getting powerful weapons or armors all over the galaxy for free so you'll have to work a little this time ... so, once in the Battle Circle, talk to the Sergeant and start fighting mandalorians.
You need to defeat the first 3 of them (Davrel, Kex and Tagren) to be "worthy" of receiving the new camouflaged armors. Save your game once you are there at the battle circle BEFORE fighting just in case ...
That said, you can't achieve the items in any other way, so if you want to play with the armors before getting to Dxun just cheat (if you can deal with the cheat console) or use KSE editor for that.
IMPORTANT: once you reject the armors from the mandalorian Sergeant (yeah you can do that too) you won't get the items never more so, if you want to piss off the mandalorian then feel free to enjoy but remember to save your game near the battle circle BEFORE talking to him. Reload your savegame to re-play and get the armors.

4. Installation/Uninstallation
=====================
Just drop everything into the Override folder of your \LucasArts\SWKotOR2 folder. Create and Override folder there if you don't have any.
If you have Dak's Big Skin pack mod installed or partially installed (the Optionals\Mandalorians folder installed) then allow this mod to overwrite files BUT make a backup of the original uti files ONLY if you want to preserve Dak Drexl's armors properties (as I said, very slight changes done there). Backup the a_heavy_16.uti to a_heavy_18.uti in this case.
Obviously, make backups if you have edited the original Dak's Drexl camo textures (N_Mandalorian01.tga and the like).

To uninstall, just remove these files:

give_camoarmors.nss
give_camoarmors.ncs
a_movpctosar.nss
a_movpctosar.ncs
sarge.dlg
and this Readme ...

and it's up to you to delete Dak Drexl's files too or not, his files are:

N_Mandalorian01.tga
N_Mandalorian02.tga
N_Mandalorian03.tga
a_heavy_16.uti
a_heavy_17.uti
a_heavy_18.uti

5. Compatibility
==============
This mod is compatible with any mod, except those which use the mandalorian sergeant dialog file sarge.dlg. Just check your Override folder to see if this file is there.
Also, if you have any items named a_heavy_16.uti, a_heavy_17.uti or a_heavy_18.uti this mod will fail too.

6. Bugs
==============
None of importance as far as I've tested. Contact me if you find one.

7. New items or equipments
=====================
None, I only used Dak Drexl's utis from his skin pack, taken from here: http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/Daks_Big_Skin_Pack;114383)
You can get additional disguises by cheating or using KSE of course.

Love it ;)
I really like the way you decided to implement them too. I always wished I actually won something when I asked that question to the mando sergent. I'm glad someone liked my skins enough to do something like this, it makes me feel all speshul :D
Great job!
