NICE!!! Yet another first in modding performed by the legendary Sithspecter. :D

Will this be sold via merchant or will we have to cheat it in?

This weapon was made on request from -DK-. It features retractable blades that slide into the hilt, a first in weapon modding.

:thmbup1:

That's an impressive milestone!!!!!

Does the model and animation work in TSl or just K1? -knows nothing about how the animation works-

Any chance, if it doesn't import nice, that 2.0 could be for TSL?

Very cool. My only suggestion for improvement might be to turn down the alpha a bit. I saw the request thread that this was born out of and the skin you made is quite good looking, but the shader seems to dominate the texture and cover up your skin.

Maybe this is just an effect of the screenshots, though. Either way, nice work. :)

It features retractable blades that slide into the hilt, a first in weapon modding. Is it a remodelled quarterstaff?
Anyway, pretty nice model!

Now that's a smart weapon, kinda reminds me of something that might have been used in the Martial Arts history - specifically in Ninjutsu. :)

Two thumbs up SS.

My guess is a remodeled and reskinned double-bladed lightsaber, on account of the retractable blades. Then all he would have to do is link it to the sword sounds instead of the saber ones;same thing for the animations, if that part was even necessary.

Nope, it's a brand new model altogether. I was classified as a quarterstaff so that the animations would run in-game. But I modeled and animated it from scratch. I think there are 5 different parts total. The hilt, and then 2 parts on each of the blades.

Pretty sweet, huh?

I'm probably going to do a Sithspecter's Mod Compilation pack sometime soon that will include this. So yes, I'll try.

You just got me all excited! :) Compilation packs setup like the Holowan Plug-in, where you would have no required files, but instead have every mod in the pack as optional would probably be the best way to go.
