I have been following this game for a long time now and thought that you guys might like to hear about it. Also, this game is for PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3.

Why has no one responded to this post? I am ashamed, you people, very ashamed.

I hold very fond memories of the original Operation Flashpoint, it's an awesome game and the only game I've played that captured the essence of personal fear on the battlefield. Open-world, crazy and doggone real. The sequel is looking great too, love the graphics and UI, really looking forward to this one.

Whoa! Now I heard of the original. This looks fan-freaking-tastic! I'm itching for more. Well, now I'm saving up for a amBX gaming lighting system. Deezamn.

Too bad my 360 isn't recognizing the software updates for the OS or else I'd be playing more games on it. As it is I have X blades and Street Fighter 4 just lying around and can't play 'em.

I loved the original game. It was good fun. I died too many times to not enjoy it.

I thought though that Codemasters had booted out the original devs. So this is Flashpoint in name only or so I've heard from internet protests. Havn't done too much following though.

I know the other bunch recently put their spiritual successor out. ARMA 2 or something like that.

Yeah, ArmA II is the real sequal. Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is going to be way better though.

It is going to be released tomorrow! (October 6th)
