Spinning off from Marius' 'What songs are you addicted to? (
http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=192939)') thread, I thought we'd have one for your favourite band/artist.
Mine has to be a London group called Rooster, they only went for about 3 years but to me they're one of the best groups ever. They wrote their own music and played their own instruments.
The song that got me hooked to them was Staring At The Sun and it also made me want to learn guitar, I'd already been playing for a few months but it was nothing really worth it but when I heard that I thought damn, I really want to be able to play that one so I buckled down and in a month had it mastered, well with the exception of the solo.
I also managed to see them 3 times when the came to Norwich and they were out of this world, it was such a brilliant atmosphere everyone was singing along and it was just great.
Anyhow this is Staring At The Sun.
