I am currently attempting to create the landing and takeoff movies for M4-78.
So far I have completed the space portion of both. I will release these as a seperate mod so anyone who is using M478 can use the movies also. I will use the original skyboxes for the main release and then the ones I am using that Quanon created.

I used the old skyboxes for the version that will be released independtly of the M478 mod. Don't worry I am also doing a version with the new skyboxes also.

I have to agree.

They look like they were made by Obsidian to me.

OK, I found a way to fix the engine glow and a better way to animate the EH. Here is a link to the new file.http://www.4shared.com/file/66085761/d7f984ae/DroMov04.html)
it is the .bik file it can be viewed with bink and smacker.

Keep in mind this is not the final version as it needs some tweaking(hopefully I have found a way to add the steam) but I would like some opinions on this sequence.

Looks great except for the part at the end of the take-off - before the crossfade - where the Ebon Hawk slows down. Might I suggest speeding up the Hawk's escape velocity (rather than just maintaining the original speed before the slowdown).

The rotation looks a little awkward to me. Maybe it would be better for it to move forward in the initial direction it is facing and then swing around once it has picked up momentum? It could do the classic Millennium Falcon knife-edge turn. I guess the problem is the FOV is so narrow that you really don't have a lot of room to work with and still keep her in frame.

hopefully I have found a way to add the steamMax has Pyrocluster or some other particle system doesn't it? You should be able to make attitude adjustment thrusters with that.

Yes one of the problems is the module is so small it makes it hard to do a whole lot but I will try an see what I can do. Max does have a partical system but (what I found so far) is there is not a lot of control as to when you want it to activate. I found a plugin that may work though.

All right I'll speed up escape velocity.
