Basically, a whole mess of heads :)
We will be having a bunch of skins of characters, from aliens, to characters from the movies. There will (hopefully) be 40+ heads.
We?
Yeah, its a bit much for just me (or anyone else on this team) to work on, so the team is this:
Me: Main Alien Head Skinner
Ferc Kast: Main Movie Head Skinner
LordRevan999: Other skinner/Fixer
E-Varmint: Our modeler. He will do stuff like add braids to the side of the Padawan heads (Padawan of both Obi-Wan and Anakin) and add stuff that we normally can't do ourselves ;)

What We've done so far:
I took my 2 twilek mods, made them compatible (I made an error, and had to reorder the normalhead column when I put them together)
I made a few more Twileks (you'll see them soon)
I removed the beard off of the Jesus Head (not an easy task, especially since I was using the Clone Stamper :xp:)
Ferc Made the Padawan heads
LR is working on the Aayla Secura Head (no pics as of yet)
Varmint is waiting for work.

Pix:
Anakin Head (not updated by LR) (http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd277/Abioshazard/K2_00032-1.jpg)
Purple Twilek Head (http://c.imagehost.org/0059/K2_00003.jpg)
Gold Twilek Head (http://c.imagehost.org/0508/K2_00004.jpg) (released earlier)
Pink Twilek Head (http://c.imagehost.org/0911/K2_00005.jpg)
Blue Twilek Head (http://c.imagehost.org/0312/K2_00006.jpg)
Red [male] Twilek Head (http://c.imagehost.org/0620/K2_00007.jpg) (released earlier)
Obi Wan Ep 1 (http://i337.photobucket.com/albums/n378/Darius_Sage/WIPs/K2_00024.png)
We are currently done on just reskinned twileks. There will be another Twilek (Aayla Secura, which LR is working on) in this mod.

There will also be a surprise included on Dantooine in the form of Lightsabers. Be watchful ;)

Its the same chin from the Jesus head in TSL. aka PMHC04A.
do you think you could add an a'sharad hett head to this pack?

AKA Darth Krayt?
I think It might be possible. The ponytail would just mean more work for E-Varmint, but yeah, I'm sure its possible.

@Riddick: Sure, I guess we could... Maybe is my answer to that.

Anakin Head (not updated by LR) (http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd277/Abioshazard/K2_00032-1.jpg)

Obi Wan Ep 1 (http://i337.photobucket.com/albums/n378/Darius_Sage/WIPs/K2_00024.png)

Serious work is needed on Anakin; the skin tone isn't at all right - it requires many hours to get right, and multiple tests in many different lighting types in game.

Obi-Wan's head is looking rather good - though I'd lighten his hair style.

Why do Obi-wan and Anakin have the exact same face, which looks like neither of them quite frankly?

i aggree with inyri... that head looks nothing like obi or ani

We started on this project between us not too long ago. I had already completed my first head after my released heads, which was the purple head. We plan to give them more... distinctive features.
Looking at padawan pictures, the only distinctive difference is that Anakin has brighter hair, and it stands up more.

i agree with inyri... that head looks nothing like obi or ani

Reason 1: As I was looking a head to reskin to look like them, that was the closest I could find to do them justice. And, if you want to be technical, they don't have the exact same face.

Reason 2: The E1 Obi-Wan and E2 Anakin had very identical hair styles in the movies. (Blame Lucas, not me. :xp:)

But, I don't mean to disagree with anyone.

I don't think the Anikin head looks a lot like he does in the movies but the head is still very cool looking so maybe you could release it as a seperate head on its own. :)

Well, the mod may be still in a beta stage (where we're making the heads, and trying to make them work ingame.) but we just wanted to give the people an example of what we're doing and a rough draft of what exactly we're working on...

*stretches*
Well, this has died down. Now, to quietly add some new pix...
From LR:
http://static3.filefront.com/images/personal/l/LordRevan999/137554/ysoibosszz.jpg)
Hes been having troubles removing the Goatee. I told him where it is, but thats the only rough area hes had.
Now, before I left (which would be the day after this topic was made) me and LR decided to do some skins. He wanted the Jesus Head to be Obi-Wan, while I wanted it Anakin. I wanted PMHC06 (its one of the blond heads) to be Obi-Wan (The hair resembled him a bit better, while Jesus' hair resembled Anakins) and he wanted it to be Anakin. So, I came up with a negotiation. Rip Jesus' beard off, place onto the Obi-Head, recolor, and have LR just plain rip off the Jesus beard, which the results above show his excellent work (better then mine :xp:) Now, for mine:
http://c.imagehost.org/0344/K2_00011.jpg)
Its not a perfect match, as I haven't had time to work on the mod (I've been camping from the second to today, which is the eighth), so I plan on making the head match Obi's a bit better, along with make the beard a bit more like his.
*runs before people start yelling at us about how sucky they are, and how they look nothing like the movies. Then, makes a sign saying that this is only an early stage, and we wanted to show what we have so far...*

I like how the Obi Wan head is going, though the Anakin one needs a lot of work, however its starting to look good with out the Goatee, as the other one it looks, pretty good, but the Obi Wan Episode I face, is... well I don't mean to be mean, but its some work, it doesn't match probably...

Anyway this is looking good, and great job so far, TG, Ferc, and LR.

Doesn't-sleep-with-vibroblades (http://s337.photobucket.com/albums/n378/Darius_Sage/WIPs/K2_00026.png)

In my humble opinion, it almost looks like the real one. It looks like there's a shadow of a goatee, which I'll try to fix when I get the chance.

I think it is coming along nicely; these maybe of use to you - http://www.padawansguide.com/oowig.shtml)

Hmm, with regards the robe - are those collar model lines showing up a lot like that? Or is that just the camera angle? (I hadn't noticed them during testing).

With regards Anakin, if you want my honest opinion I'd scrap it and start again - I think you can choose better models, and I think the skin tone is now so butchered that it may not be recoverable.

My 2 cents.

Ferc made a list of characters that, ATM, doesn't include him. BUT, the list is only a segment, and if enough people want a certain head, then we will do our best to make it. I believe I could try and do it from one of the elderly head textures found in the N's (where many of the ported assets are...)

Btw,I don't like the way you say obi wan is better than mine. Its not my fault, you said to do anakin if you had said to do obi-wan it would have been my head not yours

Mara Jade (still need to make portrait) (http://i337.photobucket.com/albums/n378/Darius_Sage/WIPs/wip_mara.png)

I haven't done any work on E1 Obi-Wan recently, though.

I haven't done any work on E1 Obi-Wan recently, though.Work harder. Dooku is just fail, to be honest, as it looks like there's no depth to the beard at all. It looks more like someone covered him in shaving cream which I assume is not the look you're going for.

Mara is just one of the default characters with red hair and pink lips (and let me tell you Mara would never be caught dead in that shade of lipstick).

The Padme head, again, is just a default head with a headband added to her.

I respect what you're trying to do, but none of the heads you've displayed up to this point look anything like they're supposed to. If you're unable to actually do that, I would recommend moving on to other projects until you enhance your skills. If you continue to contend "they're just early shots," then stop posting them until you have something to show that looks as it's supposed to.

For the record, Inyri Forge, We're Skinning, not modeling, Its kinda hard to make a completely new texture.
We're grabbing some reference pictures of teh interwebz, and skinning the heads of existing textures to look as similar to the reference pictures as possible. If you don't like what you see, then you don't have to download our project when its done. But others will, because they may like what we've done.

If anyone thinks they can do a better job for this project, then say so. And prove it. I am personally getting tired of everyone being negative of our work. We work hard on this, so I'm gonna quote:
"If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all."

Its kinda hard to make a completely new texture.Only if you don't try. :)

You can 'reskin' those heads to look much closer to the 'reference pictures' you have, you're simply not interested in learning how to. Instead it seems you'd rather put together a quick and effortless mod to get as much attention as possible, whereas serious modders tend to enjoy the criticisms of more experienced modders so they can improve.

So which group are you in?

Ok, Inyri. Try and make a completely new texture (by scratch) and tell us how hard it is to get it to work ingame.

TBH, you have no right to those words. We have excellent ref pics, and we get them as close to the we have as possible.

YOU cannot say what we are interested in learning, and what we aren't. I am personally interested in learning about Lightsaber modeling, but if I put together a crappy saber, you say that I don't have any interest in it.

We do enjoy the criticisms, just not when they are as harsh as your and EW's. Words such as yours makes us just wanna throw our project into the nearest black hole.

We have excellent ref pics, and we get them as close to the we have as possible.I have every right to say that. If you take the time you're spending defending yourself to actually learn something about what it is you claim you're doing you'll be able to get much closer.YOU cannot say what we are interested in learning, and what we aren't. I am personally interested in learning about Lightsaber modeling, but if I put together a crappy saber, you say that I don't have any interest in it.I lol'd too. That speaks to me volumes about your interest in improving. We do enjoy the criticisms, just not when they are as harsh as your and EW's. Words such as yours makes us just wanna throw our project into the nearest black hole.EW is harsh. I am blunt. I don't give you any false impressions about your work because it only serves to cloud the issue. Quoted for emphasis.

As someone that came from an editing community I can say that your work is a poor excuse of modifying. If you're going to claim something to be Dooku, or Padme, etc. it should look like these people. Simply painting something on does not make it what you wish it to be.

I'm sorry you don't understand the concept, however that doesn't make any of the criticism in this thread unnecessary or harsh. You do realize that growth and improvement are key to developing in the modding community, right? If you don't want people to call your work trash, don't make trash.
