i always wanted to transfer a hilt from tsl to kotor1 but the hilt always has a strange texture. plz help
Thats called porting. Which is illegal. Don't do it. Ever.
It's alright, when I first started modding, i had no idea what porting was either.
If it's a custom hilt it's not porting.

its just for private :D, i made it but i have another probelm...my hilt is between my legs?? i saw it has two extra planes but how can i insert them in the model?

Nah all joking aside though download the saber hilt modelling tutorial I linked to in my sig and look at the last few steps. It covers the export and getting it all in the right place...

I'm having a problem doing this, too. I'm trying to convert Anakins AOTC saber from the USM to K1. I've gone thru the tutorial and I can't get the saber to show up. I've got iw_lghtsbr_100 and A_hilt00 paint images, A_Hilt00.txi, usm_lghtsbr_100, w_lghtsbr_100.mdl, w_lghtsbr_100.mdx files in my override folder. Am I missing a file? Using a wrong file? :confused: :(

i think im gonna die... ive done everything i could but still the saber is between the legs... PLZ HELP!!
Well, I tried doing it with another saber mod(Tenku Saber), and it worked, although when I try to upgrade the saber, it won't let me and then it'll take the saber from my inventory like it wasn't even there to begin with. How do I get around this?
well your problem might be the upcrystals.2da if you haven't edited it. and you must create a special cristal for the saber
