I love the motto of the developers that they have to say before every meeting "Kicking someones ass with the Force" They're definitely taking things beyond what we've seen before.

With this game coming out, the Star Wars Universe is going to a whole another level

I understand that others (such as every other sentient being on this forum) may disagree, but I find the idea of anyone running around with such ridiculously overdone powers and abilities to be downright absurd. I don't doubt that it'll be fun to play, but I can only hope that the story will make up for the overdone powers. I understand that the scale at which the force is used in this game is intended to be overdone, but I don't see how that would be a good objective for Lucasarts to have. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'd be much more welcoming to a more-than-decent saber combat game.

As the analogy goes, Comics and Games are like looking at star wars through a foggy window, so you can break the rules slightly, But for a game that's been marked Episode 3.5, the Force powers are absurd.

I agree. You just have to remember that no one is 'perfect' or 'all-powerful'.

I agree, with all the man-handling you would get. I think that it would be a horrible job...

All the shiny force powers are great but i hope that the saber combat part of the game will be just as good since throwing helpless stormies into walls or tie fighters is all nice but iґve been waiting for a sw game that allows decent saber combat for a long time now.

you can only use the force so much at a time
basically vitality points will evenually run out
so basically you want to use the force at the right time
as for saber combat, it is based off of a single (i think, might be double) button system
If you tap the button quickly, you will do many quick slashes
if you hold down the button you will do slower but more powerful slashes
im guessing each type of slash is better based off of the enemy

I'm guessing that you can regenerate force points (FP) like in KOTOR, if not then it's the same as long as the lightsaber is available,

Eh, I'll be interested once the release date gets a little closer...we'll then see if it was really worth all the hype...

It certainly looks fun, whether or not it makes you too powerful and the game too easy remains to be seen.
