Edit by Kitty Kitty - 03/02/2016
Updating links for this. I'm planning on attempting something a bit more elegant to replace this soon, but I need to finish up my armband first and then get my butt in gear so I have some savegames available to work with for testing.

In the meantime, here's the new links you can find this thing for those who've been asking:

No Random Fighter Battles @ nexusmods.com (http://www.nexusmods.com/kotor/mods/90/?)
No Random Fighter Battles @ Deadly Stream (http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/807-no-random-fighter-battles/)
KotOR Downloads @ Kitty's Place (http://toni.blackshard.net/~toni/KotOR.html)
Please ignore the state of my crappy 'home page'. It's mostly just to archive my junk. Find the KotOR button (upper left pane) and then find the text link for it. Should only really need to use this option if the nexus is down or you just wanna point and laugh at my crappy, 15+ year old web design or something. ;)

/Edit

Ok... I *THINK* I got it.

Download the file from the link below:
NO_Fighters.zip @ nexusmods.com (http://www.nexusmods.com/kotor/mods/90/?)
(edited to point to a site that will still work - Old http that used to be here is going away)

And unzip to your KotOR\Override folder. If you're running any mods which already changed either of these files (which will NOT be the case for sure if you get no message about "overwriting the current files" when you go to put them in Override), let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Also - This has NOT been fully tested. I'm pretty sure it won't have any effect whatsoever on the story based attacks (after Leviathan, unknown world, etc etc) but that's ok because those at least make sense to be there.

It SHOULD disable ALL fighter attacks when just flying around from planet to planet, and should not in any way mess up normal story progression or gameplay.

I sat there and flew around for like 30 trips and got NO attacks...

PLEASE let me know if you encounter any problems while using this mod so I can fix it, and be sure to tell me any other mods/changes you've already made so I can figure out whether or not it's some kind of odd incompatability or not.

In any case.. had a couple people besides this post mention the idea, so hopefuly everyone enjoys. (and praying it works as intended lol)

Happy gaming,
-Kitty

This mod was requested (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=179868) in the Modding Requests forum and needed a thread. :)

To skip the turrets after the Leviathan use the attachment in this post (http://www.lucasforums.com/showpost.php?p=2334950&postcount=7).

Got some requests for this, so I dug up the old thread and updated the links with some that work now after putting it up on nexus.
