-Jedi Common Clothing Fix/Revamp v1.0a-

Well finally it is done. I have been working on it for about 2-3 months now and I think I have it just right. Okay first lets start with what this mod is. As you some of you may know not all of the common clothing in TSL is very attractive some of it is just plain ugly and pretty weak comparing to most of the armors and robes in the game. So what this does is change all of that. Instead of getting all of those ugly, weak pieces of clothing or piece of clothing I should say you will be getting nice, strong looking clothing that will make your character a force to be reckoned with.

Now most of you will first notice the robes in this mod, you will be thinking "Hey aren't these from KotOR 1?", well you would be right but I did not get them out of Knights of the Old Republic I. I in fact got them out of Knights of the Old Republic II. It seems that Obsidian, when KotOR II was in it's early stages, was trying to do something with it because not only were both the Female and Male models there they have ALL of the animations that the common clothing models have. Which made them my prime candidates for this little project. Other things that you all will notice are the textures and where I placed them in the game. A lot of the original textures were in KotOR II so I decided to use them and then I added some custom ones to liven it up a bit. Now the places where I put these robes are actually placed by what kind of robes they were. Sithly pieces of clothing I placed in darker places and Jedi like clothing I placed in lighter places to give it more of a Light and Dark balance type of thing.

Anyway though I really hope you all like them as I was working on the for a pretty long time. Enjoy everybody.:D

Also, here is a temporary link to where you can get the mod and some links to see some screenshots of this modification...

-Description-
This mod well lets just say it does A LOT, first thing as you will
notice when you first use it are the new types of clothing. I have
taken all of the robes from KotOR 1 that Obsidian left in KotOR 2
and I have made them into clothing. Secondly I have made all of
them accessible in the game by adding in ways to get them through
out the game. Now if that were not enough I also added a couple new
journal entries that will help you on your travels to find them, or at
least to coax you into find them. Now last but not least this mod
provides a special new feature that I am fairly certain has never been
done, when it installs itself you will find that it also will install the
entries without you or it having to replace your existing global.jrl
file. So without further ado I say enjoy everybody.

-Installation-
Just double-click on the setup button, press the install button
when the window comes up and let it do it's thing... oh then also
enjoy it.

-Comments-
I really had a very stressful but rewarding time making this mod.
Mostly because of the models but other things like the
containers placements and skinning all of the robes were
pretty hard as well. But all in all I am very happy with the
end result.

-Bugs-
None that I can as of yet. This is pretty stable for the most part
but if you do have problems with it feel free to give me an email
and I will see what I can do about helping you with your problem.

-Permissions-
I don't care where you put this or how you use this as long as I
get some credit for initially doing it. Also if you could give me
and email before using it in your mod I would really apprecite it.
Thanks and enjoy!

I had a problem with the installer- it's an exe-containing-data version of Stoffe's TSL patcher, and thus it extracts to the local settings/temp folder, which is where it backs up the files it patches.

The problem is, this temp folder was deleted after the installer ran (under Win2K, BTW), and now I don't have a backup!

I was able to create versions of the 2DA files without the changes, but I still need an original version of 003EBO.rim, otherwise I'll need to reinstall.
