Howdy y'all. I hate to do it, but I'm selling my personal copy of Surfin' the Highway. It can be found here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220084257602)

I won't say what the reserve is, but it's less than $100. Have at it! (That student loan of mine isn't going to pay itself off.)

I felt kind of bad pimping in this forum until I saw that dingus scamming old computers. Now I feel fine.

By the way, I've added a FREE copy of the fishwrap one-shot for the winner. Bid away...

I still love the fact that I found this in a local comicshop a couple of years ago.
It was 40 Guilders back then. That's about 18 Euro and that's about 24,50.

Anyway, that was a lot of money back then for me, a lad of maybe 14 years or so. ;)
I never regretted it though.

I bet if you found it again it would still cost that much.

Inflated internet prices piss me off.

So would you go as far as to say that the Internet is a place of greater evil than good?

Not always, but a lot of times I'll find something I want that is currently out of print, sometimes only by weeks, and some jerk makes a point of selling the damn book or dvd or whatever for over 100 dollars with "RARE OOP MINT BLAH BLAH **** MY ASS." And then all other jerk ass internet sellers follow his lead, thinking they can bank off of some stupid geeky crap.

That being said, Surfin' the Highway is well out of print for almost 10 years, so it makes more sense. But still, we need a reprint soon. I'm tired of people having to pay such outrageous prices for this book and many other things like it.
