I tried to install a few skin/ model mods and put the file to GameData\base\ directory as instructed(There wasn't a "directory" folder originally so I added one myself) but when I start a new game, nothing happens, no new model choice. What am I missing to get the mods to work? Please help, thanks!
Models and skins are for MP only. And mods go in GameData\Base. You don't need to make a directory.

Not all skins and models works single player, most of them are for Multiplayer games.
