Ok, I want to change the eye color of PMHC06 from blue to brown, but everytime I edit or even open it in GIMP it loses its tranparent pieces. I'm talking about that little bit of hair that's parted over and hanging down in front. When I preview it in KotOR Tool it looks fine with the pieces that are suppose to be tranparent all white, but the moment I export and then open it in GIMP, it looks diffrent with the bit that was transparent filled in with what looks almost like the texture used for the back of his head. This makes the part in his hair look like a solid blob of brown when used in the game. Is there anyway to fix this? Is it something to do with converting it from TPC format to TGA? I know TGA doen't support layers but I'd never even heard of TPC before i started moding KotOR.

Thanks for any help.

Looks like alpha channels problem.

- Advice: TGA conversion transparency bits loss (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=163585)
- GIMP Tutorials? (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=153381)

Hope it helps. Use forum's search function to find more info ;)
