Give the name and if you have an actor from the year of their prime, name the year:

Revan: (They could pull any random guy off the street, but) Viggo Mortensen, Tom Cruise, Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman,
Bastila: (Other than Jennifer Hale) Katie Holmes
Zalbaar: Peter Mayhew
T3-M4: Kenny Baker
Canderous Ordo: Arnold Shwartzenegger (I think that's the closest I can spell it)
Carth Onasi: Al Pachino (1980) or Harrison Ford now
Darth Malak: David Prowse (1977)
Atton Rand: Harrison Ford (1977)
Darth Nihilus: Any random guy off the street
Kreia: Judi Dench
Mission Vao: One of the Olsen Twins
Vandar Tokare: Frank Oz
Master Vrook: Liam Neeson
Master Dorak: Samuel L. Jackson
Darth Bandon: Ray Park

I vote Ed Asner for Vrook. :D

Judi Dench for Kreia--I don't think you can get any better than that.

Viggo Mortensen seems like he would make a good Revan. Tom Cruise, on the other hand, wouldn't.
And the Olsen twins as Mission? Brilliant! :D

SammyJ as another SW character? That's stupid even if it is SammyJ:xp:
You can't play more than one main character unless it's a gimic/comedy, or low budget production.

What's with all the 80's,70's?

Harrison Ford now as Carth??? I didn't know Carth was like 90

How in the world does Al seem anything like Carth (I know the guy's in your avatar, but come on you can do better than that)?

The Guvna would need some serious voice training to sound like Ordo.

Remember...

Liam Neeson = Qui Gon
Samuel Jackson = Mace Windu
Harrison Ford = Han Solo

Wasn't there a Thread on this?

Probably. I've seen similar threads on just about every star wars board I've read.

Now my 2 cents.

Revan - Angelina Jolee
Bastila - Kate Beckinsale
Carth - Road Warrior era Mel Gibson
Jolee - Avery Brooks or Morgan Freeman
Canderous - Gary Busey
Juhani - Terry Farrell
Mission - Michelle Trachtenberg
Zaalbar - who cares who wears the rug
Malek - this is the tough one. maybe Arnold.

Remember...

Liam Neeson = Qui Gon
Samuel Jackson = Mace Windu
Harrison Ford = Han Solo

I agree. All three of them would play one Character and Harrison Ford is about 60 now. Liam Neeson said he didn't want to be in Star Wars again (I think) and Samuel L. Jackson couldn't really be Dorak. Their personalities are nothing alike. Also Frank Oz could help do the puppet/Computer Graphic Vandar, but he didn't do the voice in the game, so I think whoever did Vandar's voice, do Vandar.

Off the top of my head:

Bastila: Katie Holmes/Kate Beckinsale
Carth: Harrison Ford
Mission: The Olsen Twins?
Zaalbar: CG
T3-M4: CG
Canderous: Sean Connery/Ol' Arnie
Juhani: Angelina Jolie/Paris Hilton (provided they have very limited screen time and die painfully on The Unknown Planet)
HK-47: CG
Jolee Bindo: Morgan Freeman
Darth Malak: Vin Diesel
Darth Bandon: Colin Farell (Like in Daredevil)

Atton: Keanu Reeves (I am sorry)
Kreia: Dunno
Handmaiden: Keira Knightley? Carrie-Anne Moss? Dunno really.
Mira: Dunno, but any good hottie will do.
Hanharr: CG
G0-T0: CG
Mandalore: CG
Bao-Dur: Ray Park
The Disciple: Brad Pitt (provided he meets a painful death somewhere as well)
Visas: Kate Beckinsale

Pictures:

Yes!!! I can see it now!! :giggle1:

Now, the actors (not sure if it's the best list, but the first people that come to mind are these):

Vandar Tokare - CG, voice by Frank Oz, or the guy who did it in KoTOR
Vrook Lamar - Ed Asner
Jolee Bindo - Louis Gosset Jr, or Avery Brooks
Disciple - Hugh Grant
Handmaiden - Charlize Theron
Visas Marr - Kelly Hu
Canderous Ordo - Mickey Rourke
Admiral Saul Karath - Ian McKellen
Bastila Shan - probably Kate Beckinsale
Darth Bandon - Colin Farrel
HK-47 - CG, voice by Kristoffer Tabori
T3-M4 - Kenny Baker (who else?)

Don't know about the others, but I know Vin Diesel would not be a good Malak.

HK--voice of Trey Parker
T3--voice of Matt Stone
G0-T0--voice of Patrick MacNee
Atton--Ray Liotta circa Goodfellas
Handmaiden--Uma Thurman

Here's my cast:

Revan- Hmmm......yeah, cast him Lucas-Style: just pull some guy off the street.
Bastila-Keira Knightly? Anybody?
Zaalbar-Mayhew, although he is getting old. Go CG!!!
T3- Kenny Baker did not play R2 in the Prequels, they used a...well, a robot. So go for CG!!
Canderous-Ahnold is too beesy being Guvnuh. Go with...Bruce Willis.
Carth- Stick with his voice actor. If they look nothing alike, cast him Lucas-Style.
Atton-Bruce Campbell. No question.
Kreia- Judi Dench is PERFECT for this.
Mission-Lol. I agree, Olsen twin!!
Mira- Hmm.... :bluidea: Famke Janssen!
Jolee-Hmm...Morgan Freeman? Maybe?
Juhani- Lucas-Style!!!
HK-Anthony Daniels for the body, Kristoffer Tabori for the voice

Thats all I am gonna type.

Carth- Stick with his voice actor. If they look nothing alike, cast him Lucas-Style.

The voice actor is Raphael Sbarge. (See my above post)
Heres a photo pf him.

Id say he looks enough like Carth. We know he has the voice down.

Kate and Jessica are too old to play those characters Mission is 14 Jessica is 25. Kate is 32 Bastila is 18. Bruce is like 48 and Atton is 30, people this is madness.
Ever watch Buffy the Vampire slayer. The cast were in the mid to late 20s playing high school kids.

How about the movie Cruel Intentions? Selma Blair was around 28 making that movie.

Point being, if they look young enough, why does their actual age matter? It doesn't. Especially because of what can be done with movie makeup. Also, why would the charactors exact age matter? Would it really change the story if Bastila was 25 instead of 18? No, because what matters for the story is that she is a young Jedi. A 25 year old Jedi is still very young. What Jedi master is 25? The fact that Bastila thought they where considering her for Mastership makes her age in the game madness! In terms of the story, it would make sense that she was a bit older anyway.

I will say that Emma Watson would make a great Mission though. I can't think of another 14-16 year old that would fit and can act well enough. Another good Mission would be Alexis Bledel (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0088127/). She is certainly cute enough.

Mira--Gillian Anderson
Wookies--Just get a couple of basketball players
Disciple--Luke Perry
Jolee--Richard Roundtree
Darth Malak--heh, definitely Richard Moll
Atton--have to agree, Keanu Reeves is the perfect choice

C'mon BSW, if a 30 year-old Luke Perry can star as a high school student for X years, I think we can live with Kate Beckinsdale as Bastila.

But should it be like this? There are much more suitable (younger actresses) for the role. Kate Beckinsale isn't even a good actress, only because she is British and have brown hair do people keep mentioning her. This is what I hate about hollywood casting 30 years old as teen is just what there about.
I say get an unknown actress to play Bastila and NOT Kate Beckinsale. Thats why I like Michelle Ryan as Bastila she is 20, English and an good actress.

Pretty much what the maker of this thread said, except for one of the Olsen twins as Mission, maybe Dakota fanning in a year or so. Ed Asner for the voice for Vrook. Milla Jovovich for Bastila with a little make-up touch-up to make her look a decade or so younger.

Contact lens? She looks pretty close to Bastila in this picture. (http://www.imdb.com/gallery/ss/0401855/Ss/0401855/073.jpg?path=pgallery&path_key=Beckinsale,%20Kate)

Anyway, in this silly debate, she is the closest known actress that looks the part enough. Otherwise the whole thread would be- "Carth- Someone Unkown thats 30; Mission- Some unknown thats 14; Bastila- Some unknow thats 18." Yea, Michelle Ryan looks the right age based on the game, but very few people have heard of her.

Kate Beckinsale looks as much like Bastila as Patrick Stewart looks like Professor X. Thats the fun of this thread. To put actors and actresses faces with the charactors in the game. Its all in fun and shouldn't be taken seriously.

Alright, here's my (somewhat lame) list for KotOR:

Revan: Christian Bale
Carth: Raphael Sbarge
Bastila: Kate Beckinsale or Keria Knightley
Canderous: Robert Beltran
Mission: Cathryn Taber
Jolee: Louis Gossett Jr.
Juhani: Roxann Biggs-Dawson (she's got the skills, and the voice wouldn't be hard for her to learn)
Zalbaar: CG
HK-47: CG the body, have Kristoffer Tabori do the voice.
T3-M4: CG
Darth Malak: Patrick Stewart
Darth Bandon: The guy who loses Malak to Patrick Stewart
Admiral Karath: Sir Ian was a good suggestion
Admiral Varko: The guy who loses Bandon to the guy who loses Malak to Patrick Stewart

And here are my choices for KotOR II:

The Exile: Jeri Ryan
Atton: Keanu Reeves works, I guess...
Disciple: If he were younger, I would say Peter Davison. But since he's getting up there in years... Jason Isaacs, maybe? Wrong accent, I know, but...
Kreia: Judi Dench
Visas: Marina Sirtis
Handmaiden:
Mira: Gates McFadden. She's not too old yet...
Hanhaar: CG
Mandalore: Robert Beltran
G0-T0: CG the body, have Daran Norris do the voice.
HK-47: CG the body, have Kristoffer Tabori do the voice.
T3-M4: CG
Darth Sion: Louis Mellis did the voice, and he could easily play the part, I think.
Darth Nihilus: Doesn't matter, really... he wears a full cloak, a mask, and doesn't have a real voice. No reason for an actor, really, other than to save CG $$$.

These are just the main character ideas I have... I might post minor characters if I get the time.

OK, people:

1) Since when is Bastila 18?? She's young, but not that young, I'd say she's about 20-21 and since there's no mention of her age at the official SW database (http://www.starwars.com/databank/character/bastilashan/), I'd safely say 18 is incorrect and 21 is closer.
2) @The Doctor: Admiral Varko??? Who's he?

Its says in the primagames guide OFFICIAL manual. Also do you remember Mission saying since

"when do you get to boss me around, you not much older than me miss high and mighty."
Since Mission is 14, Bastila is around 18/19 to make this statement base any truth. I also asked Stanley Woo at Bioware forums (one of the creators) and he confirmed Bastila to be 18 going on 19. If thats not enough.
