this was a "impossible" mission until i found a cunning solution......
Don't Hyperspace to the Camen Base until about 4 minutes into the mission. By this time the shuttle will be near its hyperspace point and the 8 initial incoming fighters are 11 klicks away, u may have to deal with one or two fighters near the shuttle, but you have 12 missiles........

Well, it's the mission where you have to pick up a probe droid for Aeron; I can't get past the customs, cause of those dumb
y-wings firing missiles. I tried the laser turrets's automatic fire, but it doesn't work 100%. Please help!

Super Luke, welcome to the forum! I'm new here too, so I guess we're in the same boat!
About that mission, I completed it in a slightly different way to what it says in the guide I bought. Anyway, once you arrive at Tinoon Customs, dump all energy to engines, target the hyper bouy, and head towards it.
If you have all power to the engines, the proton torpedoes from the Y-Wings can't keep up with you. Trust me, it worked for me.
You may be down on your score, but at least you'll have completed the mission.
Two schools of thought on that mission Super Luke...
1. As Red Leader Ace said, floor it...though try not to head directly for the hyper-buoy, angle a little bit to the right of it and swing round when you are closer.
The torps won't catch you.
2. Drop the probe and kill em all!! The probe is quite safe as nothing targets it. Spend ten minutes or so padding you kill count.

Hey guys, I still need your help. I can't complete the mission where I have to escort Aeron so she can put something on a comm sat. I'm stuck, cause after she puts the thing on the comm sat, I don't know what to do: there's no Hyperspace buoy, nothing, just the small sats and the big one. Please help!!!!

You have to wait for her to finish putting the thing on the satalite. Then, when she gets back in, a hyper buoy powers up.

That's not the way I did the probe mission, neither of those.
When the Y-wings arrived I rolled so that the probe was on the opposite side of the incoming torps, then I jumped in the gun turret and used 'I' to target and shoot every torp that came at me until I was close enough to the hyperbouy to escape.
*Sigh* I tried a hint but i'm serios now, it makes you sound like a 5 year old! They are talking about you on another forum. Stop it if you don't want people s******ing behind your back.
