What is your favorite Star Wars game or series of games?
My favorite is the Knights of the Old Republic series. If I had to choose one or the other I would probably choose Knights 1 because I thought the story was better, but I like all the new features that come with TSL.
Definately the KOTOR series, I used to play Galaxies alot, but ater a while it just got really boring to me.
X-Wing series myself, with the exception of X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter, which didn't really have a story to it. :)
I used to play Galaxies too, but the rampant Jedi in a Jedi less time, and the complete lack of understanding what the time period the game was supposed to be set in (few months after ANH) was about by the Devs. :rolleseyes:

I'd have to pick the KOTOR series. We'll see what happens when EaW comes out.

ha so all im hearing is how starwars galaxies is getting a makeover? Ha i wonder if thats gonna work out. Al;so guys the gameplay sucked for this game but it was like a real movie...Rebel Assault 2. I loved the cutscenes, wish there were more and wish every game these days do it! But again, its all about the money
KOTOR, especially K1. Something about it was my first real RPG. With lightsabers.

My vote goes to KOTOR series. Even with some of the shortcommings of K2, there are still fun to play!
Second place would probably be Rogue Squadron. Its been years since I played it, though.

Isn't that the one where you just go through a semi-movie kinda thing? If thats the one then yes it was fun indeed.
My favorite game is TIE Fighter, I loved playing it as a kid. But for this poll I choose the Jedi Knight series because I love the third person shooting and the story. BUT I must say that I love the Kotor series as well, I believe it is the only game that really makes me feel imersed inside the movies. Complete with storyline and action.
Super Empires Strikes Back, but since it's not in the list, I'm happy with KotOR.
Definitely KOTOR. Only a person on the Light Side would think otherwise. :xp:

TIE Fighter by far. Awesome music, story, and atmosphere. Graphics are more than dated, but you forget about that half an hour into the game.

For real. It requires you to think, though, managing these and those systems on your fighter, so to most of the Rogue Squadron kids around in this age of arcade games, it'll probably be a bit too complicated:p.

Ditto. Galaxies has been ruined by Jedi-loving whiners:mad:. I haven't played it in ages because of that.

I'd say the KOTOR series, JK series, and X-Wing series are my favorites. Hard to pick between them, although KOTOR may be the winner.
Same here. KotOR tops first, with JA in second. KotOR 1 and 2 both had super compelling storylines with great characters and gameplay. JA's story was low par, but multiplayer is fun, if you play on the right servers.
I'd also put in a word for the Rogue Squadron games. Sure beats JA vehicles. :rolleyes:
edit: I almost forgot: the original Star Wars arcade minigame in one of the Rogue Squadron games was beast. In many cases, I had more fun playing that than I did the game itself.
I love playing Rogue Leader on my GameCube. Had it since it first came out and I still play it today

KOTOR, Jedi Academy, Rogue Squadron (Lucas Arts recieved the title of 'jerks' after refusing to continue this game for PC), Rebellion (Classic), Shadows of the Empire (Dash Rendar rules) and maybe (if it turns out well) Empire at War (I like great battles).
i'd have to say my personal favourites are the original dark forces game, x-wing, x-wing alliance, KOTOR, and republic commando.
worth mention is star wars supremacy or rebellion (depending on where you are) :darthx

I voted Kotor too, especially Kotor 1. For some reason, it reminded me a lot of the OT movies atmosphere but at the same time the content was original. Great characters too.

After all these years... (Turn Imperal March on) Tiefighter is still the number one for me. Sitting in those shieldless tin can dogfighting with X-wings was and still are loads of fun.
While I voted for KOTOR, I would have voted X-Wing Alliance if it had been up there. Some fond memories of that game...

Great storyline, unique characters, re-playability factor of 100% and the "revelation" within the story was probably one of the few times in an RPG I was completely taken by surprise. It still gives me the Perma-Grin® when I think about it.. hehehe :D
While I do love KotOR and it is ranked high on my list, the X-Wing and Tie Fighter series of games are still my favorites. ;)
