Whats the hardest map on BF2? Mine was Hoth.
why does everyone dislike hoth? my hardest map was that one map where you had to go through traffic to the store and buy the game... still havnt beaten that one yet...
I don't dislike it, I actually like it, because it was the first challenge of the game and it was pretty damn hard to get the cp inside the 1st hangar..
In GC and IA its Dagobah...
Yavin IV; lose that map once out of every three times. I hated it in the first one and they still haven't made it better!
Mustafar in the Story Mode....only trouble is Gizor Delso at the end....annoying how he gains health when he kills.

Delso gains health after every kill? I never seemed to notice that.
i don't think he does, he just have alot of health, have that super geonosis ring blsater, and not only that, he has boba/jango fett's wrist rocket..... the trick is to be dark trooper, don't charge up, instaead keep him down as long as possible with the stunner, and let your teammates do the real damage, WARNING: do not use rocket luncher, it's the most retarted weapon you can use in a crowd of your teammates....
I used the rocket launcher, it only takes three shots.
Well, whernever I face Gizor Delso and he kills me and I go bak....he hasmomre health. So I am not exactly sure. More evidence will be acquired when more people discuss this topic.
I think he just has the bacta tank bonus thing on. He constantly regains health, whether he kills or not.
Naboo: Theed, always found it hard, even in GC I find it incredibly hard to win.
I found Hoth quite easy, only died twice I think and beat it first time round,
Hardest for me is Dagobah during Clone Wars era. I don't know why, but I just can't win it as the republic (even with Yoda). I did it with the rebels and it was not too hard.
Dagobah is one of the most beautiful map though. The textures just seem to be better than on Yavin.
Interesting....'cause no matter what unit or side (Republic, CIS, Rebels or Empire) I use, I always win. Just played Dagobah with the Republic and wasted the CIS...and this was the first land battle I have done in GC, for the Republic.
I find it a hell of a lot easier to win as the republic in this than in SWBF1. It's the new units and everything i never lose now either.
Yeah...in BF1, I was the CIS and I always won......every other team I would get my butt kicked.

The Jedi Temple is also hard, but Hoth takes the cake.

I found Hoth a rather easy level...once you get past the second objective. So, I would have to agree with Hoth being the hardest level. Though Kashyyyk is rather tough, especially at the oile generator.

For protecting the oil objective I just used an Republic Heavy Trooper for the tanks that the CIS used, but whenever there was a small arms fire (SBD'S and magnaguards, etc) I switched to it's secondary weapon, but this was after I tried three different ways to approach this my first attempt was easily stopped when I tried a frontal attack.
i found naboo soooo hard in the story mode. i still haven't beaten it yet so i haven't been to mustafar and i have no clue what "Gizor Delso" your talkin bout. :(.
I agree, I am one shot away from killing that Queen and she shoots me... and again... and again....
well, Hoth is a fun level in IA, but in story mode its really hard. Starting from the "take over that secondary hanger with one million rebels constantly lurking" it all goes downhill...
If you can get that, try planting that fluxing bomb... v.v

"Gizor Delso" is the final objective in Mustafar, so he would be considered the "boss" of the level.
On Kashyyyk, I use a Heavy Trooper to eliminate the assualt vehicles, then I switch to a Clone Commander or a Clone Trooper. Anyway, I know what to do, I have complete the story mode and started another one last night. Now, I'm at Kashyyyk: Line in the Sand. Interesting....we are talking about that exact level.
Mygetto sucks in GC. There's so few CPs that the neutral one is captured then the reinforcements ticker drops instantly. So instead of fighting, you spend too much time chasing command posts.
Jedi Temle for campaign. The jedi masters were annoying as hell, they would run down to the last spawn point and throw their lightsaber at anybody who spawned
Well, be an engineer... you can build turrets on the side. Just climb into one and shoot the Jedi Masters... Now thats what I call a fair fight.

Yes, they are, but if you have Anakin Skywalker, their easy to defeat. Or you can use Clone Commander or Jet Trooper. I would recommend using a Clone Trooper or Anakin if you have him.
I never got to use Anikin on campaign during the temple. Mabe I skipped it?
You get him just after you retrieve the first holocron, I know I missed him the first time becase I chose to change my character class at the post, apparently doing this cancels out the option to become Anikin because the option didn't show up. It's very easy to skip.

Anyway, the Jedi are weak compared to Anakin's lightsaber and shouldn't be a problem. (Unless you are really bad with a Jedi/Sith.) Well, for me, when I first use Anakin he's immobile for some odd reason. So, I just allow the Jedi to kill me and reduce all my reinforcements . Then, I start it all over again and use him. Though I only do this to use him there. Otherwise, if you lose the battle at the Jedi Temple, and do the battle again, he should be able to attack.

No, its the first one, your first objective as Anikin is to kill the jedi master and retrieve his holocron, although maybe if Anikin dies before you complete this objective and you still get the holocron you get Ani back anyway...
Either way the best way to kill jedi is lightsaber throw and choke, jedi health is so low it takes almost no time at all. (normal jedi that is, Masters have quite alot). Going in close is a bit dangerous, sure the jedi are weak, it only takes one swing to finish them, but don't get surrounded, it's an almost certain way to die.

Oh right, thanx for correcting me.....anyway, IMO, it's easiest to kill the Jedi with just the lightsaber. Effective and you don't risked being attacked will performing the secondary attacks.
Standing back and throwing the lightsaber at them works really well, and they don't get a chance to hit you when you use a sprint attack.

Personally, the hardest map for me was Yavin IV Space in Rise of the Empire. Becuase I don't have enough time to destroy the heavy cannons and the engines. Probably 'cause I have only played it once. :D

i found her... just took me like 3 tries. other then that i think the missions were too easy.... i was just lost.
