Hi everyone. I recently downloaded the NCA patch that lets u fly e-wing, ESSD, and etc. When i went to install, it said "STRINGS.TXT. UNKNOWN VERSION" So, what happened? I NEED HELP!

You are going to have to uninstall X-Wing Alliance and reinstall it. That should work. You can put you .plt file (your player file) in another folder and then put it back when you reinstall it so you wont lose all your points and rankings.
Thanx! I reinstalled my game, and saved the plt. file! I'm typing this messege in school right now, and as soon as I get home, I'll try to install the NCA patch again.
PS: I LOVE THIS SITE!!
PS#2: Where can I find some pages that show screenshots of brand new OPT files? I'm sick of downloading OPTs and not being able to see them before installing.
