I'm no expert, but try making the mission criticle craft (the one with the red !) last in your lineup.

I'm new at this. Bear with me if my questions are odd...

NCA is a expansion for XWA available at SFA which includes a lot of new ships. Nob Akimoto is working on a new version to use newer versions of some OPTs and to adjust the balance of the types of ships included.

Hey, when I tried to install the NCA patch, it said something about that the .exe was the wrong version. Does the patch not work with 2.02?

it ONLY works wit hthe 2.02 patch, no other mods or it goes goofy. That means no ship flyable, gunnerflyable, EXE mods (changing of ship stats), or added ships can be used with the NCA patch.

You need to save any *.skm, *.plt, *.flm, and any other files you want saved, uninstal XWA, Delete what is left, Re-install XWA, Re-install 2.02 patch, then you can install the NCA patch with no worries

I was under the impression that modifications could follow after the patch is applied. Am I crossed up?

Actually, I was going to ask the same thing. Can one apply other patches (such as Multigunner) after the NCA is installed?

Yes, most mods will work after the NCA is installed.. MOST mods.

The only one that is bug free is the RFP by xwaupgrade.com (well.. ignore the Em-Kays)

Hey make sure you do NOT download the all ships flyable .txt file, you are going to have to open up the shiplst.txt file after you install the NCA patch and replace Nonflyable with Flyable on all the crafts.

Note: AlliED does NOT work well with the NCA patch. Since they replaced some backdrops with ships (or at least it seems that way), when you select certain backdrops in AlliED, no ships other than the NCA ships will show up in the mission you created.

I'm thinking of just trashing the NCA Patch... the missions that come with it absolutely stink.

When I tryed NCA Patch it just crashed. I know there are ways to fix it, but I decided to put the ships in myself. It works fine.
