I have for a few months ago started on a TIE Fighter mission convertion to XWA platform.
The missions are going in production. But I need some help. I need people that can help me with converting Voc-audio files to Wave files. There are a lot of voc files to be converted. Any help would be greatfull.
Remember this is just a temprary recruitment.

If your contribution to the convertion is good then maybe future teamwork will be presented.

I have heard that LucasArts STRONGLY opposes this, if you do it, keep it on your own shoulders and don't post it on the web, if you set it up for download, LEC, might "contact" you...

The wise Admiral is correct. You can do this, but only for your own personal enjoyment. You set it up for download, and you'll be regretting it...

I just gave this over at www.xwlegacy.net) (http://www.xwlegacy.net) on the forums, but I can repeat it pretty quick. What you need is a program called Conman, available at www.code-alliance.com) (http://www.code-alliance.com) in the X-Wing Utilities section. With it, you open the .lfd files on the TF CD & extract the .voc files. Then, the greatest program to do the conversion of .voc to .wav is Goldwave, available at www.goldwave.com) (http://www.goldwave.com) It has a nice batch processing feature that allows you to select tons of .voc files & convert them all to .wav files at once. http://www.xwingalliance.com/forums/eek.gif)

Any probs or anything else you wanna know, e-mail me, I can help.

Thanks!

But I think it sucks anyway. And for my personal use, nawh. Just think it's sad for the people that will download the conversion and wont have any speech in it.
Well for that we can complain to LEC.

Thanks anyway.
