Frequent Hardlocks in Demo

I have been playing the demo a bit recently and in the middle of the mission my computer freezes into a total hard lock almost every time. No response whatsoever.
I'm sporting a:
-pa-2013 MB w/ Pretty recent drivers
-K6-2 450
-128 megs PC100 Ram
-Diamond V770 32mb W/ Latest drivers (tried detonator and Diamond)
-Diamond MX300 W/ Latest Drivers

Anyone know what's going on?
