XWA Demo freezes

I dunno if this is the right board to post on but here goes...

I have the XWA Demo and it freezes every once in a while (usually it goes fine the first time but freezes the second). I don't think it's really hardware-related so I'm not gonna post system specs. I think this started happening when I reinstalled Win95. I didn't change any hardware then. The screen just stays black when XWA Demo starts up when it freezes and nothing works (except the overused reset button).

Maybe no hardware was changed, but you might be using different drivers than before. Make sure to get the newest drivers for your sound and video cards. Also make sure you have the latest version of DirectX.

I have all the latest drivers I could find, and DX 7.0a.
