Hello,

Achilles' website is "temporarily frozen" and the reason given is "because it used up its monthly bandwidth." Being as it is early in the month, I assume the site will be locked away for a long time, with only brief moments of availabilty before it gets re-frozen.

Reading other posts, it seems that this is a contininued problem with this mod, and furthermore the modder has not posted this piece of work on any public mod-hosting sites, which is quite unusual indeed. Any chance of getting this mod from someone or somewhere? Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Achilles' website is "temporarily frozen" and the reason given is "because it used up its monthly bandwidth." Being as it is early in the month, I assume the site will be locked away for a long time, with only brief moments of availabilty before it gets re-frozen. Bandwidth resets on the 20th, so today is the mid-point of freewebs' month. Look for it again on the 20th if you're unable to find anyone to email it to you. Best of luck.

Seeing as how the website is still frozen I was wondering if there was still someone willing to email the mod to me? Thanks for your time.

I'll join the queue begging for a copy of this mod. Achilles, have you considered hosting the mod elsewhere? knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com and pcgamemods.com both spring to mind, and it'd make it easier for us to get it and take some pressure off your site (Since it's the 21st as I'm typing this, either Freewebs are running slow or you got swamped almost immediately after the reset)

Okay, Qliveur kindly sent me the .zip for the mod AND the fix for the "Dxun Sith Who Just Won't DIE" bug (thanks!) and I have a question:

Is there a copy of the sourcefiles available? One of the mods I've installed conflicts with one file in this mod:

a_kreatris.ncs

I have the .nss for the script from the mod already installed (Handmaiden Choice mod by stoffe) so it might be a simple matter of going in, changing any entry of "n_darthtraya001" to "n_darthatris001" or "n_darthtraya002" to "n_darthatris002" and recompiling. The readme for Achilles's mod seems to say that's all it did, but I want to be certain.

Can someone simply upload the mod to rapidshare or something? It'd be great to get this mod. Why not PCGamemods?

since it has been nearly a month since this post I'm quoting, I'd like to second the request for this mod to be posted, somewhere with less fragile bandwidth. Just not PCGM, since it isnt working either. Perhaps filefront?

Achilles has it on his homepage.

http://www.freewebs.com/achilles01/miscellaneous.htm)

It works well.

You might also try beancounter's Hardcore TSL mod. It will work with Achilles' mod. Both mods are good. Together, they are great!

http://xfer.lfnetwork.com/starwarsknights.com/HarcoreMod-TSL.zip)

You can also add stoffe's Improved Combat AI to furter enhance the badguys, though adding this to the other mods requires some .2da file merging.

I'm playing this mod and on Difficult, and so far I have to say BE VERY CAREFUL about whether you want to use it.

Right now, my companions are around level 28, and I just crunched through the Jungle Tomb with Atton, HK-47, and Mandalore. It was ridiculous. Sith grunts were doing 50 damage, and some of the Dark Jedi were doing 100+. And this is WITHOUT CRITICALS, and AFTER Energy Resistance. Atton and Mandalore both have energy damage resistance from armor overlays, and Immunity to Critical Hits from implants. HK-47 has armour that gives him a very high energy damage resistance.
Combined with this are incredible bonuses (nearly 40 for all grunts), and Sith Assassins automatically make all saves against Force Powers because they have an enormous saving throw bonus.
I made it through the final battles against the Sith Lords and the Sith Lord/Sith Master combo only because HK-47 was running and shooting, and Atton has the power to get up as long as he wasn't the last one standing when he got gunned down.

The early game was ok, and time-filler small skirmishes are okay, but critical and quest battles feel impossible. The unarmed combat challenges, like the Mandalorian Battle Circle, are absolutely impossible since they are doing about 3x-5x damage and they always hit.

Does anyone know where I can download the "Paragon`s D20 Adaptation Mod" mentioned in this thread? A google search doesn't come up with anything.
