I was wondering what is a clan saber? I found several references to them on thelightsaber.com Look at the last one on this page. http://www.thelightsaber.com/history6a.htm)

before Jedi reach the age of 12 and are assigned a master they’re taught in clans.
i'm guessing that the lightsabers that say 'clan' next to them aren't ones that were built by the padawan. they probably belong to the academy, therefore known as clan lightsabers.
