Hello this is not technically a modding question but I am all out of options and the people here are probably the only one's who can help me.

After finishing the Tatooine sand people quest(s) Bastilla for some reason became stuck as a sandperson her character model simply refuses to change no matter what I put on her, she still looks like a sand person. I am close to 40 hours into the game and REALLY don't want to start from the begining again. Is it possible for me to edit my save file so that Bastilla's character model will behave normally again, or even just make her model not be a sand person I honestly don't care any more as long as she doesn't look like that ugly thing.

I have never done any modding myself so please point me to the tools nessecarry and the specific lines in what ever file or files I need to edit, if there is any way to alieviate this problem which is totallly detracting from my first play through.

I appreciate any and all help.

Hey Shadow Skill, before you start getting loads of fixes to this post...what mods (if any) are you currently running? Also, are you familiar with modding or the tools involved? I only ask so some of the more experienced modders and myself might have a heads up on your situation, and what may have caused it.

I can think of several things I 'personally' would like for you to check, but I have a feeling others will as well. If you don't have it already...get Fred Tetra's Kotor Tool. It's going to allow you to check certain files that may pop up in here (or the Work Bench Forum where this may be moved to).

Sorry that this had to be your first post, but welcome to the Forums in any case! :)

Let everyone know as quickly as you can, help may be just around the corner ;)

You could try using tk102's savegame editor to fix her model, I don't know if it will work, but it should.

Look for it Here. (http://www.pcgamemods.com/6/)

This question belongs to the workbench section of the forums ;) I am moving it.

Did you tried to use the rapid transit system to the Ebon Hawk? This shoudl solve your problem. Otherwiese, use tk102's KSE (http://www.pcgamemods.com/7392) as pointed out by Mono_Giganto ...and even if you don't have anymore problems after using the rapid transit system, get KSE : it's a must have :D

If this doesn't work, let me know :)

I'm not using any mods and I did try the rapid transit thing with a fresh install and no dice. I'll go ahead and try the save game editor, but which file do I edit and what exactly am I looking for?

Ignore my question this save game editor is simple enough that even a modding NOOB like me can figure it out. :D Great job to whoever coded it!

That was tk102 :) ( I added soundset manipulation but that was a simple copy and paste job :D since tk102 already made everything) and if you want to try your hand at modding (modding is for everyone), don't hesitate to visit Holowan labs, you are most welcomed :)

it truly has brought back the joy in my KOTOR experience. I wanted to ask is it possible to make a black lightsabre blade? I've always thought that would be interesting to see. [Besides my favorite colour is black.]
