Hey,
I have a JKO skin I want to convert into a JKA skin. How do I do it?

Most JO skins seem to go over quite easily. You need to change the sounds.cfg file so it says "insertnamehere" instead of "sounds/chars/insertnamehere" and that usually does it.

If your skin uses a .surf file its a bit harder, particularly if it uses the Jan model.

Well, maybe I should give you more info. It does not contain .surf files, but it is not an original model from the game. It is I got permission to re-skin for my own purposes. It is a Boba-Fett model. So, how would I convert the skin/model into JKA from JKO?

Have you tested it yet? It should work fine.

Well, it works, and yet it doesn't. The skin/model shows up fine and all, but the mouse is a black & white square instead of the yellow arrow. Got any ideas?

The curser icon? No, I haven't got a clue what would do that.

Yea...and I know it's my JKO skin that's doing it, cause when I take it out, it's fine. Know anyone I can talk to who would have any ideas?

Look at the files in it. Maybe theres something out of place. Did you have anything that changed your curser in JO?
