I've just gotta go with Jacen Solo: (spoilers for NJO)
1. He is the NJO's equivalent of the Chosen One: he helps bring the Jedi back into balance, finishing that which his grandfather and started by concentrating the Jedi on the Unifying and Living aspects of the Force.
2. Though they're not together yet, he had something going with Danni Quee... duh! She's hot! :D
3. He got to be in (and for that matter, be the focus)the best SW book ever written, Traitor, and kick some serious Yuuzhan Vong butt as he went.
4. He has some awesome abilities: Vongsense, a greater Force empathy than any other Jedi, and the ability to fight even while being incredibly thoughtful.
5. Read The Unifying Force! Not to spoil it here, but what he does is awesome.

Uh... Darth Dex... you do realize Darth Maul was a Sith and not a Jedi. :D
This topic leaves us Sith out of the loop, because, like Darth Dex my choice would be a Sith. Darth Sideous would be my choice but he also wasn't a Jedi either, and this topic is about which Jedi from Star Wars Universe you would want to be... Oh well. :)
I guess I could always go with Darth Revan he/she was a Jedi before becoming a Sith, like Aniken/Vader so that would count. :D

sorry to be pedantic Keralys but you mean either 'grandfather' (anakin) or 'uncle' (Luke) right. Han Solo didnt have much to do directly with re-establishing the jedi :p

I looked into it. In AOTC, there is a scene where Mace jumps over the heads of some droids, and lands running. A droid behind him tries to shoot him in the back, but he deflects it back to the droid. He then meets up with Obi-Wan in the center of the arena. If you pause the shot just before Mace deflects the shot (the one where he lands and the droid shoots), in the background, you a Jedi that has a blue saber in one hand and a green in the other. Also, if you pause the scene immediately after the close up of Mace's saber rolling away (the one where Jango lands in the arena), you can see in the background another Jedi that is using two sabers, but this one is holding them upside down (the way you might hold a dagger or a butcher knife).
As far as the Jedi I would most want to be... I like the last one I just mentioned. There is also a Jedi in the battle who uses his body as a weapon as much as his saber that I like. It would be awesome to be Yoda. I think a lot of things are really cool about Jacen (come on, any one who can make an armor out of untrained amphistaff). But im definitely gonna have to say, Obi-Wan. I think hes the most in control, and I just plain like him.

Dispite all TPM bashing, I like Qui-Gon quite a bit.
Qui-Gon just got a bad name because of the only movie he was in. He actually seems to be a fairly decent Jedi.
Is it just me, or does Qui-Gon seem insanely quick?(like he always uses "force speed" or run, or whatever its called) he just seems to move a little bit faster than everyone else

Definately Jacen Solo, hes pretty damn cool, i mean, so was Mace but he had a purple saber...and got killed by sidious...and..yeah...next choice would be a toss up between him and Exar Kun cos he is pretty damn powerful and (wont bore you with the sw history you prolly dont want to hear) but there are heapsa other reasons why his kool...
