Look what I found: How to make a Manny mask! (http://mysite.verizon.net/vze2sfpz/manny.html)

Pretty cool. We don't celebrate Halloween in Finland, but I am still going to try that.

I was wishing for more instructions too, like how wide some parts are supposed to be etc.

I already tried to make a prototype out of plain paper, but it kinda failed. Now I can learn from my mistakes though, and once I complete an okay paper version I can try it on better materials.

Turns out my art class paper isn't wide enough. Hmm. Maybe I'll try to make one out of tapestry to find the good model.

It might take a long while before I get anything good done. I am the kind of person who gets really excited about something and then loses interest in several days.

Same here, but man I would love to make a Salvador mask. Hell, no Halloween here too.

And Iam sure someone would think of me that Iam a weirdo, 21 years old and wearing a sal mask ;)

Yeah James, show us the result , hehe!

Heh, I just noticed something:

http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?threadid=131398)

To my amazement if you go into yahoo and type Manny Calavera mask it'll pull up an AWESOME mask that a kid made not too long ago.

That's the same site as the one linked to in this thread ;)

yeah you know what's sad? There's someone on his site where you can post messages and what not, and someone thinks that this kid's project is a waste of time that he oughto spend his time dating girls and stuff. Well although those are important aspects of life too, I for one am seriously glad that this kid had the guts to go through and make this mask. :)

I think you guys oughto measure your heads across to get a better fitting mask.
