A skin pack i downloaded (and used) a few days ago doesnt have its sound working when i play with it. i know it has sounds because i looked in the file itself and saw the sounds. Does anybody know how/why this is happening?
BTW the skin pack in question is the Mortal Kombat one

If this was made for Jedi Outcast then you need to change the sounds.cfg file and leave only the player model's path:
"chars/yarael/misc"
Would become:
"yarael"
Maybe that's not the problem but i gave it a shot :).
How exactly would i do this? i dont know how to get inside the pk3 and move stuff around.
[Edit] I have your yarael skin and the sounds on it work fine

A pk3 file is a simple zip file that was renamed so you can open it with winzip.
