Supported gamestations and multiplayer aspect
Republic Commando will support multiplayer on both the PC and over Xbox Live. Both will allow up to 16 players to go at it in deathmatch, team deathmatch, capture the flag and a few other modes LucasArts wasn't ready to talk about quite yet. There won't be a co-op mode where you can play with other gamers as your squad mates, but Xbox Live owners will be privy to downloadable content after release.

There ya go ;)

Check the informative sticky thread.

Lucasarts always says that the multiplayer servers support maximum 16 players, but it will definitely hold more.
