Hey ! i wanted to play grim fandango without cd's so i downloaded a no-cd patch.
and followed the instructions wich were :
INSTALLATION
1. Install the game.
2. Install the update "gfupd101.exe".
3. Copy all files from discs #1 and #2 from the directory "GRIMDATA" to <INSTALLDIR>.
This is not necessary if you have the re-release version that installs completely
to the hard disk (1300 MB). This version is delivered in a DVD box.
4. Copy the included .exe file to <INSTALLDIR>.
5. Run the file and click on "Apply patch".
6. Play
but everytime when the game loads, it crashes back to desktop after a while without any error message :( how can i fix this :(
before i forget :
i run on a p3 667 with a tnt2 video card, i already tried 16 bits in windows xp
Where did you download the no-cd patch?
