I got the box set of El Mariachi, Desperado, and Once Upon A Time In Mexico today. The special features rock (especially RR's 10 minute classes) but when i try to play El mariachi (film) I can't turn off the audio commentary. WTF? I mean it's interesting how he made the film and all but I want to watch it as entertainment. Help, anyone?

Try finding the audio menu?

Failing that, hit the audio track button on your remote until you find the one without commentary.
