I've just installed GTK 1.4 and noticed there is a completely new toolbar, with one of the buttons saying "splines"

I was wondering if this is like the 3dsmax splines where you can create curved paths.

I'm starting work on a train system in my map and the point/target system is okay, but doesn't really leave any scope for interesting movement, such as a ship curving down from the sky and landing on a platform (much like in the Taris levels in KoToR).

Anyone have any info on this?

I know that the splines system was coded in by SplashDamage for SDRadiant when they were making ET. Vehicles in ET could follow curved paths. Digibob pulled all of his hair out and nearly choked on some pies getting it to work right.

I do not know for sure if JA supports this, though I highly doubt it.
