This is definately something to celebrate.
Is it though? I mean, Lucasfilms is finally releasing the DVDs, but they are going to be just the SPECIAL EDITION versions that were released back in like 97 and not the ORIGINAL, THEATRICAL versions.
Well since there is some controversy around the Special Editions ie Han shooting first and such I think Itd be good to release both versions. But they wont.
Either way it's still very good news to hear :). But I'm gonna have to restrain myself to not buy them until I've finished my end of year exams and school this year. Maybe it'll go for a good Christmas present.
If it's only the special edition and there's no mention of the ORIGINAL original trilogy.... then i'm gonna be pretty damn pissed off :dozey:
Dont worry when George releases the final six pack after Ep 3 then the OT will be fixed...I hope. :D
i think he should have waited till 2005 when he could have focused 100% on the trilogy and reconsidered some of the extras. i'm not complaining about 1 disk full of extras, but i think a disk for each movie would be better.
and some of those rumors list were pretty good.
does anybody know if there will be commentaries for the films? that is the ultimate feature and if george doesnt spend a day with his friends doing that then im going to be real mad

i have the original 3 box VHS (OT EDITION) set and it has commentaries before each movie!!!
Commentaries in Miko's dictionary: The type of commentary we are talking about it the audio commentary. Where you watch the movie, but the directors and the producers etc. talk about how they made the movie.
