I'll go out on a limb here and say it's because so they can crank out more and sell people like us more games.

1. What Rhett said.
2. Lazyness?
3. They want you to play the game several times over...

However, even though you "finish" some games, they seem to make you play over and over again...

Jedi Academy short? Just wait until you play Call of Duty. It's short, but boy is it sweet.

Remember that JA has 2 possible endings, 2 paths, multiple sabers, different character aesthetics. Plenty to keep you going.

Oh yes, so many games where you can get extra bonuses if you collect all the cents..Mostly just impossible, i remember trying to do this on the gameboy advan,ce for sonic and spyro..Just in the end you realise its impossible

If it's a long, saber wielding, and overall great game you want, get KOTOR. Not JA. JA didn't impress me even slightly.

Not all short games are bad though. Call of Duty is amazingly short and amazingly good at the same time.

Yes, give KOTOR a try, if you already havent.

About 20 mins into KOTOR JA became an ugly memory to me.......

JA is a huge disappointment compared to Kotor.

KOTOR and JA are two different games. I dont know why you wanna compare them! Yes KOTOR was a great game, had a good story. Umm JA, I felt it was better then JO, which its story was kinda bad. They should go look at JK:DF 2 and see why everybody likes the story. I really feel like JO didn't really meet JK's story standards. But JA, I think did an ok job. It will never meet up to JK's storyline.

Due to severe time constraints for gaming, JKJO has taken me a year to get to Doomsgiver Detention and JA is about half way through.

I rekcon if you find some games short you need to find some other stuff to fill your life with. It saves you money that way if you buy a computer game at an average of one every 6 months to a year
