nah, I play with teamspeak all the time so I would be it takes very little bandwith.

Voice chat is the only way to go when it comes to multiplayer games like this one. I love voice chatting on SOCOM 2 on Playstation2.

Voice chat is great. You can shoot while giving out orders which saves some time and maybe someone's life.

voice chat is available in every game, you'll just have to use another proggie, though here it's integrated, which sounds very cool (as long as it wont be abused..) if your mic works already on your pc (you can record things for example) you wont have to download extra stuff

Well, I can't really explain it but maybe it wasn't as well developed or popular as it is now. Even if it was only two years ago, people might not have microphones are connections that could handle voice chat. Now they do so why not have it :D

On a similar subject; does anyone know if they will include recorded voice chat commands? Kind of like Tribes 2 and Battlefield?

I really hope they make them more like Tribes 2... you know, somewhat humerous, and with personality :-).
