Ok, i am trying to change the skins of a number of different torsos and trousers. The first torso skin worked, so I made a copy of it and changed the colours. When i loaded it into the game, the first skin appeared fine, the second was just white with no textures.

The same thing happened when I tried to skin the trousers, here (http://homepages.nildram.co.uk/~angelus/skinning_problem.jpg) is a screenshot of them.

I'm guessing I missed something, any ideas?

Perhaps the directory specified in the skin file is incorrect?

I looked at that, the directories and files in the .skin files are correct, so I guess that isnt the problem :(

I have also taken a better screenshot, located here (http://homepages.nildram.co.uk/~angelus/skinning_problem2.jpg).

I already had that problem, too. It came because of i deleted a line in the model_default.txt . You dont ave to delete them, you have to write *off.
If that isnt your problem, i dont know what it could be

Thanks, I just looked at the file and I think your right, even though there is nothing missing when compared to the original.

It looks like its trying to load all of the models together.

I guess I have to experiment now.
