Good shields, good blasters, excellent torps, great handling, excellent maneuverabilty, good speed. A good all-around multi-role craft. Among the fastest in RS with S-foils closed. (The V-wing on scram is faster.) Four cannons with three link-settings. The Rebel standard craft.

I'm not saying the X-Wing is bad, but it is VERY slow with its S-foils open. If you have seen a X-Wing Special Edition Lego kit, its max speed is only about 1,240 Kph, which is about 640 Mph,which all modern jet fighters on earth can out run, except for a A-10 "tank killer", which top speed is only about 450 Mph, kind of like a earth Y-Wing.Mbey a F-117 (Aka Stealth Fighter) which top speed is classified, but its probably 620 Mph. (DO NOT say the F-117 is very fast, because it's not. I went to a airshow once, and F-16 pilot told me I knew more about airplanes than the average military pilot.) But in space, it is probably really fast.

What do I think of the X-Wing?... Well as a guy who has a X-Wing fanpage on his site I'd say that the Incom Corperation T-65 X-Wing Space Superiority Fighter is one of the best creations since they invented hyperdrive! I know that's a pretty big statement but I know most of you will agree! The X-Wing, the T-65B, the one that flew at Yavin against the dreaded Death Star saw Luke Skywalker along with the Force to destroy that super weapon and take out Grand Moff Tarkin and his officers. As the years went by the X-Wing went through a lot more changes, it evolved into something much greater and spawned another line of starfighter. The E-Wing.... okay now you wanna know the history of the X-Wing don't ya?... Hmmmm well check out www.geocities.com/rogue_squadron_central/x-wing_history.html) (http://www.geocities.com/rogue_squadron_central/x-wing_history.html)

....okay now I just gotta add more into this... It killed two Death Stars! Battled against countless swarms of TIE Fighters and still brought its pilots home without a scratch! Eventhough there is an evolved version of this fighter out there, the T-65 X-Wing is still number 1 on my fighter of choice list!!!!!... okay I'm done now...

A leak must have gone out about the F-117's speed. I would say it is about as fast as a X-Wing. But, jets like F-14, F-15, F-16 and F/A-18 and mabey the F-22 (Its top speed is classified, wihich means it could go Mach 3?) top speeds is about 1,500 Mph.

You take your info from a LEGO KIT? http://www.roguesquadron.net/forums/confused.gif) I'm sorry, but I don't find that too reliable.
