Does anyone know if Raven/Lucasarts is planning to port over to linux besides just server side? I would appreciate any info.

i have no idea... but id released a box of Quake III that was for "Linux/Windows" meaning it worked under both. My guess would be, since JA is a modified Q3 engine, that you could do the same w/ JA. Interesting topic... BUMP to those who know more :)

AFAIK, there will not be a Linux client. However, I was able to install the game and run it nicely using WineX (see Transgaming's site (http://www.transgaming.com) ). I only had to jump through a couple of hoops to get it to install. I wrote up a HOWTO about it here (http://www.thehaus.net/AltOS/Linux/ht-ja-winex.shtml). I sent this link to the JK.net admins, but none of them saw fit to post it.
