How do I get past the Therangen Obelisks?

Go up to it and hit the "A" button. This will open it up. Then, with the box open, switch to "give items". With me so far? Then "give" it a frag grenade and run like the beegeezes (sp?). Then it will blow up.

Unless you are talking about the column next to the droids, in which case you can't get past that one.
